Resia Rosolina Relay –
Along Adige River

The running event from the source to the mouth of the etsch river

For the second time this year, the Resia Rosolina Relay will take place on the weekend of 10th – 11th September. Verona Marathon, the organiser of the Resia Lake run and the municipality of Rosolina Mare created Resia Rosolina Relay in 2020.

Resia Rosolina Relay

Resia Rosolina Relay is a running event with stage races for teams of ten runners over a distance of 420 km, from the origin at the Resia Pass to the mouth of the Adige River into the Adriatic Sea at Rosolina. Each runner runs four stages of 10 km each, with rest intervals between the individual stages. More than 95% of the running distance is on the cycle paths that run along the Adige river.

This event has the advantage of avoiding crowds while allowing thousands of people to run: there is always only one athlete per team on the course, the others are in the meanwhile in the transports, where they circulate in compliance with the regulations in force in the Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige.
